Introduction

I build web applications end to end — from schema design to the last pixel.

Ten years of shipping production software, mostly in PHP and JavaScript. I work with a small number of clients each year, usually as the person responsible for the entire stack.

Strong preference for boring, durable architecture over novelty — the kind that still makes sense when someone else opens the repo in three years.

About

How I work

Most of my work sits between product engineering and design. I care how a thing feels as much as how fast it responds, and I would rather spend a day removing a feature than a week building one nobody asked for.

I take projects where I can own the whole picture — data model, back end, interface — because that is where the useful decisions get made. Typically four clients a year, on project or retainer terms.
